About the Innovation Research Network (RRI)
The Innovation Research Network was created in 2006 on the initiative of researchers in the economics and management of innovation from several research units in France and around the world.
It has over 600 researchers and practitioners and 48 research institutions and represents 26 countries, 10 local authorities and 24 companies.
The Innovation Research Network was set up to promote :
- The development of knowledge about the information and knowledge society;
- Intensify links between the worlds of research and business;
- Analysing the ways in which companies appropriate innovation;
- Setting up and implementing specific projects, providing assistance and advice;
- The distribution of books, journals (in written or electronic form), newsletters and all types of publications related to the above aims.
About La Fabrique du Futur
La Fabrique du Futur is an NGO, an association under the law of 1901 created in 2006, acting as a Think Tank to engage businesses, local authorities, institutions, users and citizens in imagining and co-creating 4D futures (Discernible, Sustainable, Desirable, Disruptive).
With the aim of democratising foresight and innovation and promoting more responsible, citizen-centred innovation, it heralds a new type of think tank. It could be described as an ‘operational think network’, because of its concrete extensions and the way it operates as a network.
The Fabrique du Futur is a study and research centre, a laboratory for detecting emerging uses and a support system for companies, organisations and project leaders. Its aim is to bring together other players who share the same values and are working in the same field. The Fabrique du Futur promotes responsible foresight and innovation, reconciling science and technology with sustainable development.
