EM Normandie Business School joins the Association of African Business Schools (AABS)
School's life
EM Normandie Business School has joined the Association of African Business Schools (AABS), an organisation that brings together Africa's leading business schools. As a result of this membership, the school took part in the African Deans and Directors Forum held in Rabat, Morocco, from 13 to 15 November 2024.
In November 2024, EM Normandie Business School joined the Association of African Business Schools (AABS). Created in 2005, this association supports degree-granting business schools through skills development, collaboration and quality improvement programmes for deans, directors and teaching staff of African business schools. It supports the creation of high-performance business schools in order to improve management education in Africa and enhance the relevance and contribution of these schools to the continent's development.
By becoming a member of the AABS, EM Normandie Business School benefits from privileged access to a global network and from quality recognition that strengthens its position among the leading international business schools. This membership illustrates the school's desire to collaborate with internationally renowned academic institutions, to contribute actively to the development of business education on the continent and to support the growth and professional integration of African talent.
Every year, the AABS organises the AABS African Deans and Directors Forum, a prestigious event that brings together decision-makers from business schools and associated institutions, both in Africa and internationally. Its main objective is to foster collaboration between academic and business leaders and to promote innovation. As a new member of the association, EM Normandie Business School was privileged to take part in this conference, which was held from 13 to 15 November 2024 in Rabat, Morocco.
At this forum, participants take part in a masterclass to discuss future high-impact initiatives and share ideas on crucial topics related to education, skills development and employability in a constantly changing world. The forum offers not only a platform for stimulating and engaging dialogue, but also the opportunity to create a strong network between participants.
Over and above the benefits of quality recognition, membership of the AABS and our participation in the African Deans and Directors Forum are already enabling us to learn from our peers and gain access to a valuable global network
explains Laurence Boiteux, Director of International Affairs at EM Normandie Business School.
