Romain Sohier is an Associate Professor of Marketing. He joined EM Normandie in 2016. He has a PhD in management science from the University of Caen-Normandy, awarded in 2016. His thesis is on how digital environments (social networks, video games, etc.) allow adolescents’ digital identity to be constructed. His research interests are based on three themes: conceptualisation of digital identity (relationship between reality and the virtual, notion of Second Self), cultural practices (electronic sport, modern music), internet user behaviour (virtual communities, darknet, trolling).
