Presentation
Brigitte Pereira is a Professor of Law. She joined EM Normandie in 2008. She has a PhD in private law and criminal science from the Université Nice-Sophia Antipolis, awarded in 2002, and an accreditation to supervise research in management science (HDR) from the Université de Caen-Normandie, awarded in 2014. Her thesis is on defence rights in criminal matters and her HDR addresses “Questionnements sur l’intérêt de l’entreprise : fertilisation croisée entre Gestion et Droit” (“Questioning the company interest: cross-fertilisation between Management and Law”). Her research interests are the social and criminal ethics of companies and a forward-looking approach to contractual relationships between the different economic players based on understanding legal instruments, management tools and business practices. She also supports corporate groups with management methods (bullying prevention- implementing warning policies); corruption (prevention charter addressing global corruption); and implementing an anti-fraud policy.
