EM Normandie Business School Revives the Integration Weekend Tradition
In late September, EM Normandie Business School’s Integration Weekend (WEI) successfully gathered over 800 first-year students from diverse programs including the Master in Management, Bachelor International Management, and BBA. This event marked the culmination of a month-long integration process featuring school-organized activities, presentations by student associations, the commencement of classes, and various association events.
The weekend served as a crucial platform for new students to build connections with each other through a range of team-building exercises, sports, and assorted games, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie.
Highlighting the unifying essence of business school life, the School, Student Federation, and Student Offices collaborated to rejuvenate this annual event, which had not been celebrated since 2016. This year’s WEI was hosted in Brittany at a 5-star campsite, exclusively reserved for the occasion. The campsite, known for regularly hosting integration weekends, offered numerous amenities to create a welcoming and enjoyable environment for the students.
Safety and well-being were paramount during the weekend, with 90 student volunteers, all members of a student association and trained in Sexual and Gender-based Violence (SGBV) prevention and safety protocols, supervising the activities. Additionally, a dozen security personnel were present, along with staff from the School, including the Equilibre et Inclusion team, dedicated to ensuring students’ well-being throughout their academic journey.
