Career opportunities

    Employment market overview

In 2025, the creative and cultural industries represent a global market worth over USD 3 trillion, making them a key driver of economic growth, innovation and social impact worldwide (Global Growth Insights). Encompassing sectors such as arts, media, entertainment, cultural heritage and videogames, the industry continues to expand despite global uncertainty, driven by digitalisation, internationalisation and the growing demand for meaningful cultural experiences (Sources: UNESCO, UNCTAD).
At the same time, the sector is undergoing profound transformation. Platform-based business models, artificial intelligence and growing expectations around sustainability, diversity and inclusion are reshaping cultural production, distribution and consumption models (UNESCO, OECD).
As a result, the employment market increasingly values highly professional, interdisciplinary and internationally oriented profiles. Graduates who combine cultural awareness, critical thinking and project-based experience with a strong understanding of the economic and social dimensions of creative industries — and who can bridge artistic practices, technological innovation and real-world industry challenges — are particularly well positioned for careers across the global creative and cultural industries (UNCTAD, World Economic Forum).

    Career opportunities

The MSc Creative and Cultural Industries prepares graduates for strategic and managerial careers within public and private cultural organisations, creative companies and institutional environments. Graduates are equipped to lead complex cultural projects, manage organisations and venues, develop partnerships and funding strategies, and design communication and audience engagement initiatives.
Career paths include roles such as Cultural Project or Programme Manager, Manager of Cultural Institutions or Venues, Executive or Deputy Producer, Cultural Marketing and Communication Manager, and Partnership and Sponsorship Manager, both in national and international contexts.
