The MSc Environmental, Social, Governance and Sustainable Finance trains students to become professionals capable of integrating environmental, social and governance issues into financial decision-making. Taught entirely in English, it combines sustainable finance and responsible investment with a highly practical approach based on the analysis and use of ESG criteria.

Developed with the support of experts in this field, the programme is based on real-life case studies, applied projects and regular presentations by professionals. Located on the Paris campus, close to major national and international headquarters, it offers an ideal ecosystem for developing your network and gaining access to a wide range of internship and job opportunities in sustainable finance and responsible investment.

    The programme prepares students to master sustainable finance and responsible investment by integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria. They learn to analyse and evaluate real-world projects, such as renewable energy initiatives, green finance solutions, social impact ventures and corporate governance best practices. The programme combines strong academic foundations (advanced financial analysis, ESG regulations, FinTech, impact investing, risk management, etc.) with practical experience through real case studies, a trading competition, an internship… Supported by innovative teaching methods, personalised guidance and strategic partnerships with industry experts, this approach equips students with recognised, immediately applicable expertise and provides strong access to career opportunities in a rapidly evolving sector.

  • Eligibility for application

    • Candidates must hold a four-year degree in Higher Education (4-year Bachelor Degree, BBA, Master 1, or equivalent). Other profiles may be accepted in derogation from these criteria.
    • This programme is also available over two years for candidates who hold a three-year in Higher Education level (3-year Bachelor Degree, BMI, licence, or equivalent). Tuition fees on request.

    No English language test score is required for students holding a degree from an English-speaking university. For other applicants, language requirements are: B2 level in English (studies completed in English or official test: IELTS 6 / TOEIC 790 / TOEFL 83 / Duolingo 115) or proof that English was the candidate’s language of study or work fort at least a year.

    Admission procedure

    1. Selection based on examination of the application file: seriousness of the application, quality of the academic and/or professional profile.
    2. Remote interview with an academic advisor: to find out more about the applicant, his/her plans and objectives. The admission decision (admitted, refused) is made a few days after the interview.
    3. Admitted candidates receive a formal e-mail inviting them to pay a deposit (deductible from tuition fees), which enables them to reserve their place on the programme and triggers a final letter of acceptance.

    • your most recent diploma,
    • your transcripts from previous years and your certificate of enrolment for the current year,
    • your covering letter,
    • a copy of your ID (front and back) or passport,

    In addition to the EM Normandie application form, international candidates must approach their local Campus France office to facilitate the process of obtaining their visa. Once the down payment has been received, the School will help International students with their visa procedures and search for accommodation.

    Funded applicants are asked to gather the necessary information as soon as possible so that the administrative documents can be drawn up in good time.

    Tuition fees for the year 2026-2027:

    • Tuition fees: €15,500 (single fee: French and international students, employees, self-employed, jobseekers)

      The cost of the course includes the EM Normandie Alumni Association entrance fee, which gives access to all the Association's services and lifetime membership.
       
    • Application fees: applicants will be asked to pay €50 to have their application reviewed.

    In addition:

    • The Student and Campus Life Contribution (CVEC), for an amount of €105, by logging on to the dedicated platform.
