EM Normandie's international AACSB accreditation is renewed for 6 years
School's life
For the third time, EM Normandie’s AACSB (*) accreditation has been renewed for six years. Thereby, the School retains its “Triple Crown” with the three major accreditations: AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS, held by only 1% of the world's business schools.
EM Normandie obtained the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation for the first time in 2014, and then again in 2019. This accreditation is granted following a rigorous audit that evaluates the school's excellence, the relevance of its mission and strategy, the qualifications of its faculty, the quality of its programs, and the efficiency of student support, as well as its capacity for innovation and continuous improvement of its activities. The Business School has also held the EQUIS accreditation since 2016 — renewed twice — and the AMBA accreditation since 2022.
The AACSB auditors from three prestigious international universities highlighted the significant progress made by the school since the previous audit. They stated they were “impressed by the innovative projects undertaken by the dynamic teams and the commitment of all stakeholders to the strategy School for All, School for Life, School for Good.”
Among the notable points, they particularly appreciated:
- The school's agility in implementing its "School for All, School for Life, School for Good" strategy into concrete projects aimed at preparing future generations for a sustainable world, contributing to societal transformation by engaging all stakeholders, and becoming an organization with a positive social and environmental impact by 2030,
- The inclusive policy, especially in favor of students with disabilities,
- The quality of the program portfolio with a distinctive expertise highlighted in logistics and Supply Chain,
- The international experience at the heart of the programs for all learners,
- The pedagogical innovations deployed through the integration of Ed Tech into numerous courses and a major component dedicated to training teachers in tech and AI tools,
- The deployment on all campuses of the school incubator which trains students in entrepreneurship, encourages them and supports them in their startup projects,
- The launch of WARD in 2022, a collaborative and intelligent platform dedicated to students to support them throughout their academic and professional journey,
- The development of intellectual contributions in high-quality publications.
- The dynamic EM Normandie Alumni network, which boasts over 26,000 members worldwide.
The renewal of the AACSB accreditation fills us with pride and strengthens our strategic directions.
Beyond its strong international recognition, this mark of excellence provides the school with greater visibility to increase its recruitment of top-quality international students and faculty, establish new partnerships with accredited universities, and further develop its attractiveness. This re-accreditation reinforces EM Normandie's position among the world's elite Business Schools holding the triple crown AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA, and rewards the hard work and constant commitment of all our teams. We are committed to pursue the development of EM Normandie, an increasingly innovative and inclusive Grande Ecole, with passion and determination
Explains Elian Pilvin, Dean of EM Normandie.
