Marion Brys, new Director of Corporate Relations and the Paris-Clichy campus of EM Normandie
School's life
Marion Brys joins EM Normandie as Director of Corporate Relations and Director of the Paris-Clichy campus. She will play a key ambassadorial role, representing the school both internally and externally.
The Corporate Relations Department, headed by Marion Brys, is a 16-strong team that acts as an intermediary between the academic and business worlds. As well as strengthening links with companies on a national and international level, she is responsible for developing the portfolio and organising events between students and companies (Career days, career workshops, job datings, etc.). She and her teams also run a partners' club, helping companies to promote their employer brand and recruit interns, work-study track students and young graduates. She is involved in a number of business clubs and analyses changes in companies' recruitment needs. It also acts as a link with the faculty, which carries out expert assignments on behalf of companies, and forges partnerships as part of the activities of the school's research chairs. On the teaching side, the corporate relations department provides companies with assignments and challenges on specific themes, which are carried out by students acting as consultants.
As Campus Director for the Paris-Clichy campus, Marion Brys is responsible for ensuring that the 14,000 m2 campus, which will welcome almost 3,000 students at the start of the 2024-2025 academic year, has a high profile and is run as efficiently as possible, providing both a strategic vision and an operational approach on the ground. These two missions make Marion a true ambassador for the school, in her dealings with companies, regional, national and international partners and institutions.
A management and commercial relations professional in higher education and recruitment, Marion Brys has spent almost 20 years with the Adecco Group, where she has risen through the ranks: recruitment consultant, branch manager, key account manager, national operations manager, area manager, regional manager, then development director of the fixed-term contract recruitment Business Unit at Adecco France until 2023. She then joined Omnes Education as Sales Director. After gaining a degree in modern literature and language studies at the University of Paris X-Nanterre (2004), Marion completed her training programme with a work-study track in human resources and team administration at Novitec (2006). She then completed two Executive Programmes in Management and Strategy at IGS Paris (2015) and EM Lyon (2022).
"After working in the recruitment sector for almost 20 years, I am firmly convinced that the worlds of business and higher education are intimately linked. They are both essential if we are to respond to the challenges and ongoing changes in the labour market. Driven by this conviction, my mission will be to strengthen the synergies between the academic and entrepreneurial worlds, by developing high-quality partnerships, involving companies in the professionalisation of our students and making ever greater use of the experience of our Alumni. It is with great pride and humility that I join the teams at the Paris-Clichy campus and this fine institution that is EM Normandie, driven by the same values of innovation, excellence and inclusion," explains Marion Brys, Director of Corporate Relations and Director of EM Normandie's Paris-Clichy Campus Director.
"The experience of ‘Marion Brys’ in the corporate world gives her a comprehensive understanding of what organisations expect from a business school. I am convinced that she will not only be able to meet these requirements, but also bring an innovative approach and enrich our collaboration with our partners, to the benefit of EM Normandie's development" adds Carine Guibbani, Director of Development at EM Normandie Business School.
