EM'Barquement: kick-off of the associative season at EM Normandie
School's life
At EM Normandie, associative life is much more than just an extra activity: it is an essential part of the student experience, enabling young people to develop practical skills, build strong links and get involved in projects that are close to their hearts. With this in mind, the Student Federation has launched ‘EM'Barquement ’, an invitation to submit projects, open to all associations operating on the Caen, Le Havre, Paris, Oxford and Dublin campuses.
A call for projects to stimulate student creativity
3 and 10 October 2024 were lively days on the EM Normandie campuses, with brainstorming sessions dedicated to association projects. Each association worked to come up with an innovative, hard-hitting idea with the aim of bringing a project to life over the coming year. After this creative phase, the teams presented their proposals to a jury made up of members of the Student Federation and other members of the school. This initiative offers associations the opportunity to explore new perspectives, design unique events and promote unity on campus, while receiving financial support for their achievement.
Official launch of the associations' season
Through EM'Barquement, the Student Federation aims to give fresh impetus to community life and to inspire associations by encouraging them to get involved in ambitious projects. This approach is in line with EM Normandie's desire to create a stimulating environment for students, where associations play a central role in the development of a dynamic student life. Whether they are planning artistic or charitable events or implementing projects linked to personal and professional enhancement, the grants awarded offer real support in bringing to reality initiatives that will enrich school life.
Promising projects for this year and for the future
Following this call for projects, a number of associations were selected and granted the necessary funding to bring their innovative projects to fruition. They were selected for their inventiveness and determination, holding out the promise of memorable episodes and inspiring moments for the students and members of EM Normandie.
So a big well done to the associations that stood out and won the grants! We can't wait to see these projects take shape and contribute to making EM Normandie shine through meaningful initiatives.
