Founded in 1871 as one of the first French “Grandes Écoles”, EM Normandie is triple accredited with EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA. Less than 1% of business schools in the world hold this triple crown. The School’s accreditations
AACSB is an American accreditation that highlights the School’s strengths: constant improvement of training, great openness to the world, close links with the business world, educational innovation and research, culture of proximity and strength of its network. Only 5% of business schools in the world hold this label.
With the award of the EQUIS international accreditation, EM Normandie has joined the very select club of 183 accredited universities and business schools worldwide. This label rewards the School’s anchoring in its territory, characterised by excellent relations with companies, the internationalisation of its programmes, an innovative pedagogy, and an important network of graduates.

EM Normandie is the 18th French Grande Ecole in the Financial Times ranking of the Best European Business Schools (86th in the overall ranking) in 2021.
EM Normandie is ranked in the Top 100 of QS Best Masters in Management programmes in the world (2022) for its ”Programme Grande École”.
Higher education French recognitions
Within the French « Conférence des Grandes Écoles », EM Normandie is part of the highly selective club that includes 38 Grandes Écoles de Management awarding Master’s degrees among the more than 400 business schools in France.
Launched in 2019 by Campus France, the ‘Bienvenue en France’ label is the result of a national quality assurance process. It measures and promotes initiatives to welcome international students in higher education. EM Normandie has obtained the highest rank, 3 stars, for a period of 4 years.
Initiated by ChooseMyCompany, the Happy at School® label is based exclusively on the opinions of students and reflects their satisfaction with multiple criteria: infrastructure, respect for the environment, academic teaching, student life, relations with companies and confidence in the future.
Committed labels
SD/RS
In 2023, EM Normandie was awarded the SD/RS Label (Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility) for two years, joining the circle of 10 Grandes Écoles de commerce with this label. Created in 2015, this label gives national and international recognition to the sustainable development and social responsibility initiatives of French higher education and research establishments.
