The Summer School is open to Undergraduate and Graduate students providing that applicants have the pre-requisites specified in the course’s syllabus.
For non-native English speakers: B2 (CEFR) or equivalent (TOEFL IBT 72, IELTS 5.0, TOEIC 750) is highly recommended.

Dr. Mustafeed ZAMAN, PhD | Digital & Social Media Marketing
Mustafeed Zaman is an Associate Professor of Digital Marketing at EM Normandie Business School. He joined EM Normandie Business School in 2019. He has a PhD in Management Sciences from the Institute of Business Administration, University of Perpignan (France), awarded in 2018. His PhD thesis was on “Web Innovativeness and ICT Adoption in Tourism SMEs”. His area of specialization and research is Innovativeness, Digital Transformation, Marketing Strategy, Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Information & Communication Technology, Technology Acceptance and Adoption, Digitalization of Services, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data and Travel, Tourism & Hospitality Management. Dr. Zaman has received multiple distinctions such as “Academic Excellence Award” for Pedagogical Innovation from Fondation EM Normandie, France (2021); "Valedictorian / Top of the Class" from Excelia Group (La Rochelle Business School), France (2012); "Best Paper Award" at the 8th International Conference on Service Management from the Virginia Tech, USA (2015); and "Best PhD Thesis Award" in Tourism Management from French Tourism Research Association (AFMAT) (2019).
Dr. Josip MARIĆ, PhD | Project management in a digital era
Josip Marić is an Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management and Decision Science. He joined EM Normandie in 2020. He has a PhD in management science from the Université de Montpellier, awarded in 2018. His thesis is on sustainable development and digital transformation, with a specific focus on the implications of 3D printing technology. His research interests are Information Systems (IS), operations management, innovation and entrepreneurship. His research focuses mainly on digital technology, digital transformation, innovation and sustainable development. He is Academic Director of M1/M2 DESMI.
Dr. Yihan WANG, PhD | Doing Business in a changing world
Yihan Wang is an Associate Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship. He joined EM Normandie in 2020. He has a PhD in Administration (Specialist field: international business) from HEC Montreal, Canada, awarded in 2019. His thesis is an analysis of the Chinese aerospace industry. His research and teaching areas are international strategy, innovation networks and regional development. He is also Academic Director of Graduate program International Business.
Dr. Yonathan Silvain ROTEN, PhD | Experiential Marketing & AI influences in a phygital world
Yonathan Silvain Roten is a professor of Marketing. He joined EM Normandie in 2021. He has a PhD in Management Sciences from the Panthéon Sorbonne University awarded in 2019. His thesis is on the new practices of phygital interactions between consumers and sellers. His research and publications focus on screen sharing, as a shopping practice during a joint shopping journey, and as a selling practice during a service process.
Dr. Olivier KOVARSKI | DBA, Experiential Marketing & AI influences in a phygital world
Olivier Kovarski is an Associate Professor of Marketing. He joined EM Normandie in 1998. He has a DBA in Business Administration from the Business Science Institute (Luxembourg) and the IAE Lyon School of Management, awarded in 2018. His thesis examines how a public event may lead to positive word-of-mouth, namely in the case of film launch events. His research interest is Buzz Marketing, namely how an event makes people talk about a brand positively. He is the Academic Director of the MBS and China projects for EM Normandie.
Dr Nabil GHANTOUS, PhD | Working in multicultural teams and environments
Nabil Ghantous is a Professor of Marketing. He joined EM Normandie in 2020 following several years of academic experience in Qatar, France and Vietnam as a lecturer, researcher and director of programmes. Nabil has a PhD in management science with a marketing specialism, awarded in 2010 from the Université Aix-Marseille III. His thesis covers the impact of interaction intensity on the dynamics of a brand. His research interests include entrepreneurial marketing issues, franchising networks, international marketing and brand management.

Dr Elodie DE BOISSIEU, PhD | Brand and Product Development in Luxury
Elodie de Boissieu is an Associate Professor of Marketing. She joined EM Normandie in 2020. She has a PhD in management science from the Université de Paris-Est, awarded in 2019. Her thesis is on experience of luxury brands. Her research interests are technological innovations in general and brand management, particularly luxury brands and stores. Elodie de Boissieu has spent 20 years in marketing and sales roles in the luxury brands industry and services alongside her research posts recherche (fashion, beauty, tableware and fine dining). She also developed and managed EIML business school in Paris from 2012 to 2019. She is the Academic Director of M2/MSc Marketing and Digital in Luxury and Lifestyle.

Laëtitia Condamin is an Assistant Professor of Marketing. She joined EM Normandie in 2016. She has a PhD in management science from the Université de Poitiers, awarded in 2018. Her thesis is on capturing the responsible perspective of marketing managers. She spent a large part of her professional career in major multinational companies in the fields of Market Research and Consumer Knowledge.

Dr Karolina MALAGOCKA, PhD | Cyber Resilience for Future Leaders: Managing Risk and Human Factors in the Digital Age
Karolina Malagocka, PhD, has nearly two decades of experience in cyber-security implementation and online security communication. As a researcher and lecturer at Kozminski University, she specializes in digital transformation and human-machine interactions in virtual environments. Her academic prowess is highlighted by her PhD thesis on online privacy and data control, and she actively teaches about digital transformation and the impact of data and technology in marketing. Dr. Malagocka has contributed significantly to the field by developing a scale to measure cyber risk behavior among employees. Her practical experience is further enriched by over 15 years at F-Secure, where she leads marketing strategies for mobile security and online identity solutions, collaborating with major European operators like Vodafone and Liberty Global. Additionally, she is an alumnus of the national security program at the Daniel Morgan Graduate School of National Security in Washington DC and spearheads the Cyber Citizen program with Aalto University in Helsinki, enhancing digital competencies and online protection awareness in the EU.
Dr Sébastien BOURDIN, PhD | Understanding climate change and how to act as a business for the ecological transition
Sebastien Bourdin is Full Professor in Economic Geography at EM Normandie Business School. He joined EM Normandie in 2012. Holding a PhD in Geography and an Accreditation to Supervise Research, he specializes in the study of the European Union and issues related to Cohesion Policy, Territorial Development, Public Policies Evaluation, and Ecological Transition. In his research, he uniquely combines quantitative methods –such as Spatial Econometrics, Statistics, and Modelling– and qualitative methods to provide an in-depth perspective on his favorite topics. Sebastien Bourdin has led several notable research projects on current topics such as Energy Transition an Circular Economy.
Dr. Maryse MATTA, PhD | Leadership & Becoming
Fluently bilingual, culturally diverse and a lifelong learner, Maryse’s distinctive academic and professional trajectory has taken her from architecture to project management to currently pursuing a PhD in leadership. This unique blend gives her the ability to navigate with agility from abstract ideas to tangible results, to see issues from a bird’s eye view to the minute details to plan, implement and execute. Her unique background coupled with diverse experience give her a cross cultural sensitivity, knowledge and deep understanding of the human spirit to unlock potential.
